Zemura was shut out of the team’s first team and forced to train with the Under 21s last week after refusing to sign a contract extension tabled by Bournemouth.
He will be a Udinese player effective 1 July this year up till 2027 and becomes the first Zimbabwean to break into the Italian topflight league.
His exit was first announced by renowned journalist and transfer news guru Fabrizio Romano.
“Jordan Zemura has signed long term deal as new Udinese player valid from July 1 — he joins from Bournemouth on free transfer. ⚪⚫🤝🏻 #transfers,” said Romano.
“Contract will be valid until June 2027.”
Udinese later posted a welcome message on their social media platforms with the left back drapped in black and white stripes.
