Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Yadah Stars coach Expense Chitukutuku has confirmed plans to reinforce his team by signing Harare City striker Jerry Chipangura.
Yadah has been among the most exciting teams so far but they have not been getting goals in some games they dominated possession and created decent chances.
“We are planning to bring Chipangura on board, I believe he might be the one to end our problems with his experience.
“Talks are still ongoing but I am confident that our leadership will complete this deal,” Chitukutuku told H-Metro.
Chipangura is currently playing for Harare City in the Northern Region Soccer League.
He was playing for the same club in the top flight in 2022 before his conviction for a drug-related crime sometime in June 2022.
They have scored only 8 goals so far, and they have not scored more than 1 goal in a game.
“We have been playing well and we just hope that these strikers will live up to expectations once they join us.
“We are trying to be competitive in every department for us to achieve our objectives,” Chitukutuku added.
Yadah’s next match is against an equally struggling ZPC Kariba when games resume on the 1st of July.
