ZPC Kariba winger Tinotenda Chiunye, who this week signed for Botswana premiership side TAFIC, has been described as the only ‘yellow bone that matters.’

TAFIC which recently got promoted after financial problems fueled its relegation to the lower division is currently assembling a squad it hopes will not just ensure survival but challenge for honours.
Information on a potential investor it had found late last year were hard to come by.
Chiunye, who featured for Harare giants Caps United and Dynamos was introduced to the Matjimenyenga family Monday.
“We introduce to the family Tinotenda Chiunye aka Tino. The 23 years old attacking midfielder/winger is arriving on a permanent transfer from ZPC Kariba which is playing in the Zimbabwe Premier League,” said TAFIC.
“The maestro has previously played for Caps United and Dynamos.
Tino has represented the Zimbabwe national team at Under 17 and 20 levels. He will be given jersey number 10 to match his capabilities.
Welcome home Tino! Va dvoka pa musha mkoma.
“The only yellow bone that matters.”
Chiunye leaves ZPC Kariba 14 matches into the 2023 season, a point above the dropzone having only managed four wins, lost eight and drawn two.
His capabilities are however not questioned, having been one of then ZPC Kariba Coach Darlington Dodo’s best performers so far.
