The hugely unexpected win came three games into his tenure at the Gweru based outfit which had gone nine games without a win.

The team had not scored in the eight matches, before Liberty Masveure’s double sank the 2022 Champions FC Platinum.

The 93rd minute winner came after Gift Mbweti’s equaliser on 65 minutes. Masveure had opened the scoring on 60 minutes.

This was Sheasham’s second win in 17 games, the first having been a 2-1 triumph over Cranborne Bullets on 30 April. The same day when the Construction Boys had last celebrated a goal.

Sweswe, who joined the Gweru-based side 3 match days ago, has now collected 5 points from 3 games, the first two being goalless draws against ZPC Kariba and Black Rhinos.

Shesham has now moved to 15th on the log with 17 points, six ahead of bottom club Black Rhinos.
