Ex-Caps United talisman Dominic Chungwa will leave Botswana Premier League side Sua Flamingoes at the end of June upon expiry of his contract.

Flamingoes took to their social media pages on Thursday to announce Chungwa’s departure from the club.

“Dominic Chungwa will leave the club upon expiry of his contract at the end of June,” Sua Flamingoes posted on their Facebook page.

Also reads their post: “Sua Flamingoes are grateful for Chungwa’s contribution during his time with the club.”

Chungwa won the Premier Soccer League (PSL) golden boot in 2017 after scoring 17 goals, and he was also voted among the soccer star of the year finalists in the same season.

He joined Sua Flamingoes in July 2021 from Lumwana Radiants of Zambia on a two-year contract.

The 37-year-old striker once played for Polokwane City in South Africa before they got relegated from the top flight.

In Zimbabwe, Chungwa also turned out for 20-time champions Dynamos FC.
