Forward Prince Dube walked away with the match ball after scoring four times in 60 minutes when his Azam FC ran riot over Polisi Tanzania FC on Friday.

Dube inspired Azam to a heavy 8-0 win over the visitors in their final match of the Tanzanian Premier League.

The former SuperSport United forward scored a first half hat trick which was his first in a series of competitive matches with the Tanzanian giants.

He then went on to net his fourth goal of the match in the 57th minute.

It took the ex-Highlanders striker nine minutes to open the scoring to give the Dar es Salaam based side an early lead.

He scored his second of the match and also doubled Azam’s lead in the 15th minute, before completing his hat trick just a minute before the half hour mark.

With four goals in the last match of the season, Mgadafi as Dube is nicknamed in the domestic league, finished third on the top scorers chart with 12 goals.

He ended the season six goals behind the league’s top scorer Fiston Mayele of title winners Young Africans.

The Zimbabwe international was also four goals behind second placed top scorer Saidi Ntibazonkiza of Geita Gold.

Dube’s Azam will be in action Monday at Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga for the Azam Sports Federation Cup final.

They square off with Young Africans who are chasing a treble this season after winning the community shield and the title.
