Newly appointed Yadah FC head coach Maxwell Jongwe had a good start with the Miracle Boys after guiding the side to a 1-0 victory over Cranborne Bullets in the preliminary round match of Chibuku Super Cup on Wednesday.

The cup tie was played at Baboab Stadium in Mhondoro.
It was Jongwe’s first assignment after being appointed Yadah’s head coach at the start of the week.
Jongwe replaced former Aces Soccer Youth Academy coach Expense “Ekie” Chitukutuku who was reassigned to the assistant coach position.
Ex-Highlanders striker, Russel Chifura’s strike in the 86th minute was enough to help the prophet Walter Magaya-owned side progress to the next round of the tournament.
Yadah will now face FC Platinum on Saturday in the first round of the premier knockout tournament whose winner automatically qualifies to play in the CAF confederation cup.
Meanwhile, other Chibuku Cup fixtures lined up for weekend include the much anticipated matches between Harare giants Dynamos and Simba Bhora as well as the battle of the city between Highlanders and Bulawayo Chiefs.
Both matches are scheduled for Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo.
On Saturday, Dynamos will play Simba Bhora, while on Sunday Highlanders are set to face-off with defending champions Bulawayo Chiefs.
