SIMBA Bhora coach Tonderayi Ndiraya will have to pull out all tricks in his hat on Saturday when he faces former club Dynamos if he is to better chances of him lasting longer at the Shamva side.

Ndiraya’s side has only managed a goal in a toughly fixtured introduction to the topflight.

After losing 2-1 to 2022 champions FC Platinum; having led for the greater part of the match, Simba Bhora were again beaten by runners up Chicken Inn 1-0 at Luveve stadium in Bulawayo.

With a cheeky and trigger happy Simbarashe ‘Buju’ Ndoro for a boss, Ndiraya will have to dig deep to beat a Dynamos already high in confidence after dismissing Sheasham 4-0 on Sunday.

Ndiraya will have to dig deep to beat Dynamos

Reports indicate Ndoro has already warned him about his poor start in a letter delivered after the 2-1 season opening loss.

“Ndoro is not happy with the team’s performance and has already told him that,” said a member of the Shamva side’s management in confidence.

“A loss against Dynamos will not do him any good as fingers are already being pointed at him especially after failing to defend at least a point against FC Platinum.”

Ndiraya was relieved of duties at Dynamos after letting slip an early lead in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League to finish third behind FC Platinum and Chicken Inn despite promising the championship.

Having assembled what he said was the best squad since Kallisto Pasuwa’s all conquering squad of 2011-2014, Ndiraya was widely expected to deliver on his promise.

“Another tough one, but this is the level that we are now competing at and we just have to put our heads together, play Dynamos to try and get a result.

“We are playing at home though it’s not really going to be an advantage. It’s a test of character, we need to be very strong and make sure we get a good result against Dynamos,” said Ndiraya ahead of the match.

Ndiraya took with him former club captain Partson Jaure whose inclusion might also add flavour to the already interesting encounter.

Also part of his squad are former DeMbare players Ronald Chitiyo, goalkeeper Simba Chinani, Keith Murera and Blessing Moyo.
