Ghanaian international Emmanuel Paga is back in the team and will be available for selection when Dynamos square off cross-town rivals Caps United Sunday.
Despite being injury free, Paga was not in the match day squad last week when a disjointed Dynamos suffered it’s first defeat of the season after a humiliating 2-3 loss to visitors Bulawayo Chiefs.
This follows his suspension by the club after a ‘silly’ penalty miss during the Independence Cup match against Highlanders in Mt Darwin on 18 April.
Highlanders went on to win the match 3-5 on penalties with their defender Peter Muduhwa scoring the last penalty of the match after Paga had miscued his shot.
As a result, he was reportedly fined and dropped when DeMbare played Chiefs.
However, the club’s top scorer with 10 goals last season is back in the fold after reportedly apologising to the coaches, teammates and the executive.
He will be available for selection Sunday when the “Harare Derby” takes centre stage, headlining PSL’s Week 7 fixtures.
After a good start to the campaign, Caps who remain unbeaten in six outings, will be hoping to maintain their form, a draw or win might be a ‘fair’ result for them.
Its all a different story for DeMbare who also had a good start to the season but are now finding it difficult to get results.
The Glamour Boys who edged Hwange away (0-1) in their season opener and thumped Sheasham 4-0 at home in their second match showing some signs of resurgence have been struggling of late.
They have not recorded a victory in their last three league fixtures, only collecting two points from a possible nine.
They played goalless draws against Simba Bhora and Cranborne Bullets before their recent 2-3 loss to Chiefs.
On Sunday, the Herbert Maruwa coached side will be out for nothing but a victory to keep their season in the right track.
