Mpofu, who failed to cement a place in Dynamos’ competitive starting team last season, was spotted by the bhorafrika.com team at Chicken Inn’s pre-season training.

Expectations are that he will put pen to paper with the Bulawayo side.

His exit was confirmed by Dynamos via its social media platforms on Monday.

“Dynamos Football Club would like to inform its stakeholders that it has parted ways with left-back Brandon Mpofu following the expiry of his contract on 31 December 2023,” the statement read.

“We wish Brandon the best of luck in his future endeavors.”

Now a free agent, the former Bulawayo Chiefs defender joined DeMbare in January 2022 after a short stint with cross town rivals Caps United.
