Bulawayo giants Highlanders Football Club have congratulated their technical manager Baltemar Brito following his appointment as the Warriors coach.

The 71-year-old former assistant to Jose Mourinho was officially announced as Warriors head coach by the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) Thursday.
“Amhlophe Brito. Congratulations to our technical manger Brito Baltemar Jose Oliveira on his appointment as the Warriors Head Coach,” wrote Bosso.
Brito will be assisted by Dynamos interim coach Genesis Mangombe as well as the suspended Hwange FC assistant coach Bongani Mafu.
The trio’s contracts will expire in June 2024 at the same time with the ZIFA normalisation committee’s mandate.
The coaches’ first assignment is away to Botswana for an invitational Independence match on 30 September. Next on the calendar will be the world cup qualifiers matches in November.
