The cessation of PSL’s shirt sleeve sponsorship with Fidelity Life Assurance forced teams that normally wouldn’t, to buy new kits for the 2023 season.
Those with resources did, FC Platinum and Bulawayo Chiefs for example, but several like Dynamos, Highlanders, ZPC Kariba have not yet.
While others have not tampered with the sleeve that bears the Fidelity Life Assurance logo, ZPC Kariba chose to paste white material over it. Maybe it will save them from being sanctioned for breaching equipment regulations.
It’s not clear whether the measure is due to a delay in the delivery of kits like the Highlanders situation, but it doesn’t look good on the eye.
